My name is Erika Strohecker. I’m a designer at The Wonder Jam, a small but fierce studio of friends located in Columbus, Ohio. Our four walls consist of branding, web design, photography, podcasting, coaching, workshops, and lots of coffee drinking! I wear a few different hats at The Wonder Jam. Usually I’m designing print and digital material for our clients. Sometimes I’m caring for and watering the plants in our studio (I’m somewhere in between a part-time gardener and a full-time botanist). Other times, I’m a hand model during cookbook photoshoots (not to brag or anything, but my hands are probably famous from being photographed so much).
I got my start at The School of Advertising Arts in Kettering, where I received my Associates in Graphic Design. Then I continued my education at The Columbus College of Art and Design where I got my Bachelors in Advertising and Graphic Design. By attending both schools I’ve learned two very important things about the design world: make things look dope + have a concept to back it up. These skills have made me into to the multidisciplinary designer I am today. I am a firm believer in working hard, experimenting, and helping others. The best part? I get to do all of those things at The Wonder Jam. I'm super excited to be working with these amazing people and hopefully making an impact in the community.
As a side note, when I'm not on my computer I spend my time in a few different ways: hanging out with my dog Rigby, hanging out with other people’s dogs, or trying to find a dog to hang out with.
I promise that I do other things, too. Want to work together? Get in touch with me.
